In No Great Hurry - 13 Lessons in Life with Saul Leiter
Saul Leiter is a legendary NYC Street Photographer
it makes me so childishly excited to see that someone has made a documentary following the life of saul leiter. i only discovered sauls photographs for myself about four or five years ago, when i picked up a book of his photographs in a used book store that i would have bought in a second if i could have afforded it. it always pained me that no one seemed to know his name or his photographs, that he never really had a large following of the people hes inspired. and selfishly, that i cant go see his prints enlarged and framed on the walls of galleries. i wish i could afford to donate to this documentary being made, but perhaps saul inspired me too much and i am still spending all of the little money i have on film and processing (and coffee.) be sure to watch this video, donate if you can, and if you’ve never seen his photographs… please, do yourself the favor.
